Soccer Training Cancelled On Saturday Aug 27
Due to the state-wide issued state of emergency”, McDonogh School has cancelled all activities on campus this weekend, including our soccer training session.
We are currently planning to have the following schedule for the next couple weeks:
Tues, August 30 Soccer Training (6:30 – 8:00)
Sat, September 3 No Soccer Training Due To Labor Day Holiday
Tues, September 6 Soccer Training (6:30 – 8:00)
Sat, September 10 Soccer Training (9:30 – 11:30)Please note that if we get as much rain as expected this weekend, McDonogh may decide that the fields we use cannot be played on for a few days. This MAY make it necessary to cancel Tuesday’s training session (8/30). We’ll let you know as soon as we know.

State Tournament, Sunday, March 27th
After an outstanding regular season, we’re proud to announce that both of Baltimore County’s 5v5 Teams have earned bids to the 2011 State Tournament at the Capitol Sports Complex in District Heights Maryland on Sunday, March 27th.
Coaches Ty Tylerr and Larry Wallace are once again expected to play some of the top competition in the state after some very strong performances at area qualifiers, while our Coach Ira, Jack, and Mack’s team will see some familiar faces after some very close games throughout the regular season qualifier schedule.
Athletes should arrive by 8:00 am and be prepared to stay for the duration of the day. Lunch will be available for all athletes and coaches.
Here’s to a great 2011 Basketball Season and best of luck to both teams next weekend!

We’re looking for volunteers to help out with cycling this year AND we’re looking for athletes who would like to participate in Kennedy Krieger’s ROAR for Autism bike ride at Oregon Ridge Park in Hunt Valley on Sunday, May 1st.
All Special Olympic athletes receive a free registration to participate in ROAR !

May 21, 2011 — Spring Games
SAVE THE DATE!
We are very pleased to announce that the Special Olympics Maryland Baltimore County Spring Games will be held at McDonogh School on Saturday, May 21. This major event typically plays host to more than 150 competitors from across Maryland. Competition will be held in Track and Field and Bocce. We are also exploring the possible addition of a couple other sports.
Volunteers will be needed to help run the competition, present awards, provide hospitality, serve as escorts, etc. More information will be available in the very near future.

May 7, 2011 — Track and Field All Comers Meet
SAVE THE DATE!
We’re very pleased to announce that our annual Track and Field All Comers Meet will be held at McDonogh School on Saturday, May 7. This exciting event focuses entirely on competition and is an exceptional day of races, field event face offs, and personal challenges. We typically host several other programs at this event and expect this year’s All Comers Meet to play host to 100 or more competitors.
Volunteers will be needed for this event to help run the overall competition. Look for more information on volunteering in the near future.
